Hi Porter, it looks a bit like you've tried to do an EFI install without
having an EFI disk partition.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Seth,

The machine I have been trying to Install every variant  of ubuntu,
after fully updating the install on reboot , and attempting to install
the AMDGPU-PRO drivers from the tar.xz archive that AMD's  linux
support   team provides for the FirePro WS2100 graphics card that came
in my BirthDday percent  Dell Precision Tower 3420 SFF Workstation.

Thanks,

Porter Smith

Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted
the installer in EFI mode. A warning message prompted you that this
could be a problem and recommended performing a bios mode install
instead, but you chose not to. You either need to perform the bios mode
install, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system
partition to install in EFI mode. This will be done for you if you
choose the "use entire disk" guided install option.
